Update 6/24/2010 Last months second ward meeting provided residents insight in to gang activity in the region.  Sponsored by Kim Rogers 2nd ward councilor the program was presented by Gang Intelligence Investigator for the Oneida County District Attorney’s office Rebecca Beatty. Afterwords, Councilor Rogers and Councilor Darkangelo agreed to sponsor key legislation to address the graffiti problem in Rome.  Common Council was briefed on 6/09/10 as to the need for an ordinance to abate this growing problem.  Once legislation is in place, we can go about the business of abating this growing problem.
